Award of EEF Scholarships to the Children/Students of Education Employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by EEF for the year 2020-21.
By following the yearly practice, once again the Managing Director Education Employees Foundation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar has announced/notified that the said foundation will receive application forms from Education Employees regarding award of scholarships to the children/students of Education Employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through EEF till 15/01/2021.
Every year, the said foundation awards scholarships to the children of Education Employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who are studying in SSC, HSSC and Bachelor classes on merit basis.
Classes Applicable for Scholarship:
However, due to Corona Pandemic; students of 9th class have been promoted to 10th class without declaring their results by all the BISEs, due to which students of HSSC (Part-I) and Bachelor (Part-I) are eligible to apply.

The Managing Director, EEF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has requested all the concerned head of departments to inform all of their concerned sub-ordinate offices/officers/officials to submit their applications directly or through proper channel duly attested by the concerned authorities mentioned in the application form by 15/01/2021.
Who can apply for EEF Scholarship?
Children of in service and retired employees of Education department who are enrolled in Class 10th, Intermediate (Part-I) and Bachelor (Part-I) in any Government or Private recognized schools/colleges/universities/institutions of Pakistan can apply for this scholarship.
Amount of Scholarship:
The Education Employees Foundation will award the scholarships amounting to Rs: 6000 (for each student) at various levels of Education.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the quota reserved for each and every District, Agency, FRs, Gender and class. Merit Scholarship in class 9th class, in intermediate and equivalent (Part-I) the same will be awarded on the basis of SSC and in degree (Part-I) it will be on the basis of HSSC/BTE Exams.
Students need to attach the following attested photocopies along with the application form.
- Detail Marks Certificate (DMC)
- Domicile Certificate/Form-B of the student
- CNIC of Education Employee
- Recent pay slip of Education Employee
- Slip of EEF Registration Number

Registration of Education Employees with KP EEF:
Managing Director, Employment Education Fund Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar has issued a Notification regarding the registration of EEF because one can get facilities only of he /she is registered in the said foundation.
Procedure of Registration:
Therefore, through this notification Foundation intimated that employees of the Education Department are required to deposit one-day basic pay (initial) and the foundation shall issue a Registration Number to those employees. (A list containing Registration Fee rates for each BPS is attached here).
For this purpose all the concerned Head of the Department s are requested to circulate this information among the sub-ordinates at the earliest.
Indeed, unregistered Education employees shall not be entitled to enjoy the facilities provided by the said foundation.
It is also worth mentioning that the Foundation has nominated focal person for all the Districts so that they can issue registration numbers to Education Employees easily.
The revised form for the grant of Retirement Relief out of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation Fund is issued vide Notification No. EEF/415/2020 dated November 03, 2020.
All those Education Employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can avail this retirement grant out of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, EEF Fund who have been retired from service w.e.f 01/01/2013.
The Education Employees who have been died during the service o left the service can also avail the same. It is pertinent to mention here that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation grants Rs: 30000/= (each) on account of Retirement Relief under the provisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation Act, 2018.
